Situated close to Main Head on Donegal's Inishowen Peninsula, Ireland's most northerly links comprises 365 acres of spectacular dune land and is practically surrounded by rolling hills and mountains the only boundary is the Atlantic Ocean. The 'Old Links' measures a mere 6612 yrd's, however length on this course is not an issue the fairway ripples are so pronounced, it is a treat to behold such a natural links course. The 'Glashedy Links' is a terrific challenge and for years golfers in the know regarded Ballyliffen as the ultimate hidden gem. Named after Ballyliffin's own "Ailsa Craig", it has played host to the European Tour's 'North West of Ireland Open", when no fewer than 6 former Ryder Cup players were left drooling at the magnitude of the course.
