Ireland's Tourism Renewal Group
As mentioned last month, Fiona O'Sullivan, one of Custom Ireland's directors, has been appointed to a Department of Tourism committee to renew tourism efforts in Ireland. See our blog for photos of the group's inaugural meeting with Minister for Tourism Mary Hanafin.

EDTNA Dublin Conference

As the official opening of the Conference Centre Dublin quickly approaches so too does the first international conference for the venue. Custom Ireland are the official DMC for this European renal care event from the 18th – 21st of September, and we very much look forward to the weekend and to seeing the CCD full of visiting delegates.

Fiona O’Sullivan appointed to Tourism Renewal Group

Director of Custom Ireland, Fiona O’Sullivan, is the current 2 year president of the Irish Tour Operators Association (ITOA). She has been appointed also to the Department of Tourism’s Renewal Implementation Group which will be chaired by the current Minister for Tourism Mary Hanafin. Read more on our Blog.

Visit Dublin App
Yesterday Tourism Ireland launched their Visit Dublin App, suitable for download and use on smartphones in the City. The launch was held at Dublin’s newest hotel, The Gibson, in the Point Village. The guide which includes audio clips and details of accommodation, visitor attractions and restaurants was developed by Irish company Geoguides. The app will initially feature 1,400 points of interest in the capital. It is a first for any city.
