Custom Ireland – Busy with Welcomes!
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Maeve Bannerton to the Custom Ireland Team. Maeve, a native Galway girl, has returned to Ireland from the UK and brings with her extensive knowledge and experience in the field of event management & travel programme development. Bursting with fresh ideas for incentive travel programmes and business development, Maeve adds a new dimension to the company. Official Opening of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Dublin
The grand opening of Dublin’s newest four star was quite the spectacle event. While the hotel has been in operation since August 2007, the opening of the Radisson Royal truly launched the hotel to the market. Inaugral Dublin Convention Bureau Member's Meeting
Up to 60 members of the Dublin Convention Bureau met today to discuss the importance of site inspections and the differences between association conference and corporate business. This event was attended by Kenneth Lyons and Patricia Duffy of Custom Ireland and highlighted how the business tourism industry comes together to share experiences and learn about international best practice within the industry.

SITE Runs Ireland Challenge is Underway!
Kenneth Lyons, sales and marketing manager, Custom Ireland, completed his first of four marathons as part of the SITE International Run the World Initiative. Talking about his experience, Ken said, "Connemara was a beautiful setting for this race and considering the grueling course and adverse weather conditions, I was delighted with my time of 4hours, 14minutes and 13seconds!. Stephanie from Auvergne France, is the newest addition to the Custom Ireland operations team and brings with her extensive tourism experience and a new international perspective. Having worked in several customer service roles, Stephanie always has the client's interests in mind and is looking forward to bringing her skills and energy to the operations team at Custom Ireland.
